Small ship/skip or insertion mechanic like a lowering basket.
Just a little thing I thought would be REALLY COOL is if we could have a buildable skipper (small ship) like a long boat that cant go to far from the main but will save you on trying to manuver your big mothership into land to get things. essentially gives you the option to go really big and out there without worry for parking. alternatively a lowering platform or basket that will do the job to get you on the ground.

For an insertion mechanic you could scan this and build. This would allow you to open the underdust up to places without lifts. You could also upgrade to include an oxygen point, or have storage box like the underdust lifts. -

Vuur MergedWould it be possible to allow us to create a mini dockable ship that we can use to get from our giant sky fortress to nearby locations. Perhaps one could limit the size to something akin to what we started with in the game.

GregDefinitely need some sort of secondary vehicle once you get to the large sized airships. Especially now that we have co-op. Perhaps make several static skiff designs with limited customization to keep the player from just building a bunch of big airships? One basic metal, one glass, and one bloom, then let the player choose the balloon type and paint job? Set it up either as a dedicated docking room type thing or a catwalk attachment where the skiff docks.
