With the moisture from the storms and the lack of sunlight the underdust gets it would be really cool to see various evolved forms of mushrooms, including shelf mushrooms growing on buildings and scaffoldings.
Some of the fungus may be edible, or even cause some issues like a style of puffball that explodes into spores causing lack of vision or breathing issues. Also due to the release of spores the airship may gain them like barnacles, causing us to need to scrape them off.

I like this, I especially like the idea of having to scrape them off the ship.
