  I am under the impression the garden towers and undersust tower showing up like they do are at the edges of random generation.

  I like this because 1; the air ship in the picture has a bunch of radar discs sticking out of it, and 2; It can be used for so much more than just increasing the radar range. It could be a step into finding hidden locations on a certain frequency, or used to isolate specific locations you want to find.

  as an addition a map table showing a larger map that can be interacted with would also be great

  This could be expanded on to have different types of radar dishes, with different aspects that they handle. Maybe have a decent low-profile omni system for the more ....aesthetic... players and the rest of us can have antennas, dishes, dipoles, and all kinds of wacky arrays! =D
