Remove structural beams on the sides on default cockpit.
They are obstructing player's line of sight when looking to the left or to the right when operating a rudder control installed in the cockpit. Sometimes they can make landing more difficult.

I wouldn't remove those on the side but rework the one on top, it clips trough the floor if I build something above it -

DeLindsayI see this is marked "unlikely" and that's a shame. Those beams get in the way constantly, from sightlines to placing objects.

FenrisNot only that, but when used with glass floor/ceiling, the beams tend to only be textured from one side, with the other side having see through visual artifact errors. And if you place them side by side in any build, they 'vibrate' from an error in mesh overlap. I'm working up to doing a bug report on the normal/inverted cockpit mesh with screenshots.

MNot just landing but moving around structures. There is no collision warning or detection (or camera/wing mirror on the beast!) to give you a reference where you are in relation.

Rider of DarkSmall cockpit, with the original setup. The rudder control hasn't been moved at all.
Using said rudder control, then looking directly left, yields the image present. That angled strut blocks anywhere between a quarter and a half of the screen, depending on interpretation and math and such. It sorely limits visibility when at the helm, and getting a view around it requires releasing the helm controls. -

Rider of DarkTo add to the previous comment: the small bloom two-deck cockpit has far more visibility than the standard small cockpit does. The enclosed image is me standing at the front, using the rudder control, and looking left. Largely the same location as where I was standing in the previous comment's image.

EZ5902Would like the beam underneath removed too same with inverted, because that beam clips with the floor above and items are classes as block when trying to place.

two_cakesThe fact that many of the models are so broken. In this game that things can't be placed correctly and often don't work.Is shocking. And whoever decided to put the beams on this kind of glass doesn't make any sense.Psychologically, there's something wrong here.
