Clean water tank or a water dispenser
Hello, i would love to see some way of storing clean water in any form of tank or dispenser unit. This Dispenser does not need to be able to be automated just to store a larger amount of clean water on your ship that you can either put back in a bottle or drink from directly without having to reach into your backpack.

Libery MergedMaybe belongs to the
Upgrades to water purifier and cooker
or the
Fill Individual Bottles At Tank
or the
Big water purifier.
or the
Auto hydrating plant pots
Watever. I would like to be able to store clean water into a water tank. Best to do it by pipes from purifier.
Also would help the plant watering. From narrative (Some note on a tower) it was told that they found the farming pots. But how to water the plants with fresh, clean water is up to whoever uses it.
Currently we use the dirty water. With the virus. For our food.
With automatisation there we could use the fresh water. And if we include the request for central power battery (or whatever) we can also have some balincing to do there to keep up the water supply, more things to burn power (if the purifier uses solid battery) and so on -

Greg | Community Manager Admin MergedThis is currently possible by adding Clean Water via a bottle directly into the water tank.
The garden system is designed to use dirty water as these plants have grown in the current climate with dirty water. Hence the large supply of dirty water on the main platform at Garden Towers. -

Libery MergedThe clean water was just because I read it on the database ingame. So I guessed that it was intended to only use purified water for the plants by lore

Libery MergedNope, If I have a big bottle of clean water in my incentory and try to fill it into a small tank I only get the greyed out option "Requires dirty water". Can't fill clean water into a tank. So I have to store it in a lot of bottles in boxes

Gadget Steelmare MergedI think it would be nice to be able to have a storage tank for clean water, as well as some furniture items for building something like a shower stall for washing the dust and pollutants off the player character after an excursion under the dust. It wouldn't have any gameplay advantage, but I'd like to imagine it would feel nice for the main character to wash off every now and then. They deserve it.

RitterlichMake it like the large water storage tank but with a filter and can still be connected to piped water generators.
It would be nice to have a upgraded cook pot that hangs from ceiling (like the scraper) and plumbs to clean water tank and can cook 1 stack of 10. -

C'est MoiI use multiple filters to store my fresh water. I typically use four filters, because a large bottle with dirty water refills them exactly. An idea that might work would be a larger filter reservoir or, as above, have them connect to a clean water tank

OopsLoopsI would have liked to expect a water dispenser.
After all, purified water is something you carry around with you, whether it's for drinking or something else. I find the idea of keeping it in a tank fixed to the ship are inconvenient.
so, I think it would be nice to there are have an inventory, and it could hold bottles. And then refill the bottles with purified water. You can exchange the full bottle there for the one you having. Then the machine starts working and the bottles are refilled again. If the contaminated water is supplied through a pipe, it can be automated. Doesn't that sound convenient? :) -

AblewindIf the water tank can be broadened to accepting clean or dirty water this would be potentially useful.
I would see being able to pipe water (clean or dirty) to a dispenser with a "rack" of slots for empty bottles.
You drop off your empty bottles while picking up the full ones ans keep exploring.
And the rack having slots for ... two big bottles and four small/regular bottles?
I don't see a great amount of benefit for the tanks being able to hold "Any" liquid.
By the time I finished the game and its main story arc? I had long since streamlined my production of liquid oxygen, plant resin, plant oil, fertilizer, liquid neon, and dust fertilizer.
Having a "tank" of these other liquids?
....why? If you are storing up That Much of these liquids but aren't effectively USING these liquids?
It just seems like one more heavy thing just sitting around and taking up space on the ship.
The ONLY benefit that comes to mind? Is just being able to quickly dump/empty liquids collected while out
