Paint trail marks/spray paint

Either a modificationsof the ship paint tool or a new one bit it would be great to be able to mark when exploring. Like in the laboratory level there are symbols and arrows guiding you around but in suburbs, it's easy to get lost. Also if you do ever do procedural generated dust levels, it would be useful to mark your way back to the lift or oxygen points.
