DeLindsayI like it. I also like the idea of there being a completely new variant of each (maybe a bit different design) so we have more options for decorating our Ships.

Libery MergedIt would be nice to have the option to connect the pipes to a water purifier. There is already a valve of sorts on the dirt water side, just make a connector to it so we can automatically fill it from the tank.

PsychoThe entire water pipe system is currently only used for sprinklers but can be so much more useful. A pipe connected purifier and pipe connected cooker would be great additions as discoverable items to build upon the water pipe system. I would also add in the options for (or change to existing) liquid storage tanks to allow for storage of all the different liquid types (I believe another suggestion thread is already open for this).

Alexandra Lorular MergedRight now we have an upgraded water condenser that lets us auto pipe into the water storage tanks... but that still means we have to take time to make membranes to replace...
Does it really require more of a scientist than us, to take the simple rain water collector we start with, drill a hole in the bottom of the collector weld a pipe to it, and just auto pipe it into the water tank no membranes no player interaction nothing for the player to have to remember and deal with once it's set up?
For that matter why not also pipe in an upgraded water filter unit, or cooker so that player never has to worry about manually dealing with filling various containers again, this Should be a simple (At least In Universe idea.) I don't see why it can't be done unless their is an engine limitation.
I just want a system I can set up and never have to deal with manually moving liquid A) to container B again, unless I'm filling a water bottle to drink while exploring.
It seems needlessly -

Raynemaker84I completely agree with this whole thread, I think that the water purifer could at least be upgraded at the upgrade station, to allow for it to access the water pipe system. This upgraded version, could accept water from a water tank, collector, connected water pipe system, and still from the player, then purify that water. The upgraded version could use epoxy or even require more glass to upgrade, etc. The upgraded version also could have a larger tank, i.e., 50 units vs the already 5 units. The purified side should also be able pipe water back into the water pipe system, sending it to a seperate water tank for storage, the cookers (maybe the upgraded cookers), and/or it could hold onto the 50 units of purified water like the current purifiers do.

Raynemaker84Id also like to add, that an upgraded cooker would be great. The upgraded version could be made through the upgrade fabricator. It would be great if the upgraded version would hold more water in the tank, allowing either multiples of the same item to be cooked at the same time, or multiple different items to be cooked and made into a "meal". It would be very great if from the (upgraded purifiers) or even just a regular water pipe, it can receive water to fill its cooking tank.....To attach another suggestion, would be the addition of recipies. Adding different ingredients, could form a meal, offering buffs similar to the buffs we give ourselves through boosters. The meal buffs could be anything, but would be useful, maybe buffs related to the foods we use. i.e, lobster fruit in a meal would slow the decrease of the player's energy for the day, diving bells added would let our O2 drop slower than usual while in the dust, etc.

Aegis Mergedcan we get a cooker that does More than one portion at a time?
yes, we can place several, but on multiplayer, the scaling for food means a truly silly kitchen to keep 4 survivors fed.
and even for solo players, the ability to batch out food reserves...

RoboPhilip MergedI'm not saying the design choice for the water purifier is bad, it's just that when you look closely at it, it looks a bit sloppy. There are a lot of uneven edges and rough shapes.
