Ability to merge two standard balloons into a bigger one.
Upon reaching the lift limit of two fully extended balloons, player can merge them in one bigger balloon with lift limit higher then of two standard balloons combined. It will allow players to have multi-deck design while avoiding making their ship too wide 'cause there will be no need for third/fourth balloon.

JaylhUltra2 MergedIt would be great to be able to somehow edit the balloons width & height profile, (much like the existing balloon length editing).
For example:
- ability to change lift capacity of a single balloon by adding or reducing either height or width (or both). (would make for some interesting designs)
- or even, just having different sized versions to find and play with (small, medium, large) ?? -

DracocalthasPersonally I love this idea. While they’re not maxed out in length (yet, planning on doing that next time I log in), the ship is as wide as I reasonably want to make it with only 2 balloons. Currently my ship is an 8x8, which is plenty big enough for me as I’ve got enough storage, a bedroom, and a greenhouse. But I did want to make a second level that is exclusively a GH for plants, and then the lower floor for everything else. As it is, I don’t have enough weight to even consider it (I only have 200lbs left for me right now). A larger balloon with more weight would definitely help with that while still keeping the ship a reasonable size.

MekalusAs an addendum to this make it so you can swap out the type of balloon core you are using in a similar fashion to how you can swap a solid wall with a window wall using the ship builder. (It just swaps them you don't have to disassemble the wall before building the window wall.) Currently you have to tear your ship apart until you are below the weight threshold of a fully upgraded single balloon to swap out the type of core you are using and that is just a huge PITA. Especially if you have already built out your airship almost exactly the way you wanted it.(Paint and all)

AKVthis wont be popular but usually theres a tradeoff not a bonus, so 2 large balloons into a single balloon would have a somewhat lower carry capacity than 2 individual balloons. It might be a special tech that changes the thermodynamic properties of the balloons, it might not require additional balloons at all in this case if what you want is increased carry capacity.
